Fuentes still a Phillies target

A report in The Philadelphia Inquirer suggested that the Rockies have asked for right-hander Carlos Carrasco or catcher Lou Marson for lefty reliever Brian Fuentes. The 32-year-old is 1-4 with a 3.50 ERA and 14 saves. The Phillies aren't likely to deal either of those players for Fuentes, though discussions are ongoing. The Rays are believed to be the front-runners to land Fuentes.

Rumors also continue to swirl about Blue Jays' right-hander A.J. Burnett, and shortstop Jason Donald and centerfielder Greg Golson have appeared to have emerged as Toronto's secondary targets, along with one of Carrasco or Marson. Scouts from both organizations are actively checking into each other's organization.
