Tigers look at Giants' Taschner

The Tigers have had a scout in San Francisco this weekend watching the Giants against the Diamondbacks. It's believed that the target of observation is lefty reliever Jack Taschner, whom the Giants could potentially deal. The Tigers have been linked with relief help in trade rumors this week, but with back-to-back losses to the White Sox dropping Detroit further back in the AL Central, any momentum towards the Tigers being buyers might have halted.

what about trading Edgar Renteria with someone to the Dodgers for Joe Biemel or Hong chi kuo and Rafael Furcal?

Nobody is going to take Renteria and his bat with holes in it!As much as I would hate to see him go,Brent Clevelen is just rotting in Toledo, along with Clete Thomas. With the the amount of outfielders we have,we could afford to deal one, right?!

tigers need relief help, how about fernando rodney and nate robertson to colorado for mike fuentes and taylor bucholtz and then for for a starter like bronson arroyo or seth mclung .

i say trade clevlen and another couple minor leaguers to toronto for halladay and ryan
